There is a Better Way

Monica knows the unique and complex needs of this district and how to serve a region whose politics span from left to right, made up of quaint urban neighborhoods to rural family farms. When she goes after something, she doesn’t quit. This district needs a fighter who also knows how to build consensus and get things done. She has a proven track record of working across the aisle, considering everyone’s voice without being biased, and discerning how best to move our community forward. She is a peacemaker, but also knows when to flip some tables. She will deliver the servant leadership that Virginians deserve.

Common-Sense Approach

Monica will fiercely defend women’s reproductive rights and expand access to care, invest heavily in public education and create a path for school choice that won’t adversely impact public schools, secure a dedicated funding stream to establish regional mental health facilities, bolster local economies by investing in public transportation, address the housing crisis by incentivizing affordable and variety of housing, and develop a process to finally address the Commonwealth’s rampant unfunded mandates.

The New 27th District

The new 27th District consists of Stafford County (partial) Spotsylvania County (partial), Fredericksburg City.

On The Issues

Looking in the  mirror, I see a mother proud to call Dinwiddie home. I see a single parent, who works hard to provide a decent life for her son. I see a concerned citizen, who believes you shouldn’t have to choose between groceries or gas.

But lately, I see more than an individual. I see parents who want their children to attend quality public schools. I see neighbors, who want to run errands without fearing for their safety. I see an economy leaving us behind no matter how hard we work. I see the need to take action.

I’m running because I feel called to stand up for others.

I’m not a career politician, but if it takes me getting into politics to invoke change, then I will become a politician for all of us!
